What we do
Who we are
I’m lucky to have had the opportunity to build a career by doing what I love. From a young age I’ve been focused and goal driven. At the young age of 18, I received my first job in Fiberglass manufacturing. From there I decided to conquer the skills necessary to build, refurbish and modify fiberglass. We specialize in Fiberglass resurfacing, modification and maintenance.
Fiberglass resurfacing refers to the process of repairing and refinishing the surface of a fiberglass sub straight. This can include fixing cracks, smoothing out rough areas, and applying a new layer of gelcoat to improve the appearance and durability of the slide. The process typically involves sanding and cleaning the existing surface, making any necessary repairs, and then applying the new surface material. The resurfacing can be done by professionals or by individuals with experience and the proper tools and materials.
Fiberglass modification refers to the process of altering or enhancing the properties of fiberglass material by adding various substances or chemicals to it. This can include adding fillers, resins, or pigments to change the strength, flexibility, or appearance of the fiberglass. The goal of fiberglass modification is to create a material that is better suited for a specific application or that has improved performance characteristics.
Fiberglass maintenance refers to the steps taken to ensure that fiberglass structures, surfaces, or products remain in good condition over time. This can include cleaning, polishing, and protecting the fiberglass from damage or wear.
Cleaning: Fiberglass surfaces should be cleaned regularly to remove dirt, grime, and other contaminants that can damage the material over time. A mild detergent or soap solution can be used to clean the surface, Alternatively and most frequently the riding surface must be buffed using a rubbing compound.
Polishing: Fiberglass surfaces can be polished to restore their shine and remove light scratches. A good quality marine wax or polishing compound should be used to buff the surface of the fiberglass.
Protection: Fiberglass should be protected from UV rays and other environmental factors that can cause it to deteriorate over time. This can be done by applying a UV-resistant coating to the surface of the fiberglass..
It is also important to perform regular inspection of the fiberglass structure, surface, or product for any signs of damage, wear or deterioration and to address them promptly.
Overall, proper maintenance can help to extend the lifespan of fiberglass and keep it looking and functioning like new for many years.
